Mystical Malestrom
Mystical Malestrom is a one-woman owned and operated small business based out of Marin County, CA, inspired by an intentional and grounded approach to living.
I founded Mystical Maelstrom after spending years feeling lost and unaware of my disconnection from my inner self and body. Through therapy, participation in women's circles, extensive reading, journaling, meditation, burn ceremonies, and guidance from wise women, I discovered a more balanced and intentional approach to life. This journey allowed me to connect more deeply with myself, others, and the world around me. I began experimenting with foraging wild plants from the hiking trails of Mt Tamalpais, crafting new versions of ancient spiritual tools. These creations felt sacred and introduced a slower, more authentic way of being, helping me connect with my intuition and soul.
I cherish the natural world and strive to incorporate it into my daily life. My focus is on plant-based materials that are sustainable and honor the ancestors who originally inhabited the land I now call home. Just as people of the past valued rituals and ceremonies, they also carried talismans and wore amulets to remind them of something greater than themselves and to connect them to this divine source.
My products are unique because they are all handmade, with plants foraged near my home in Northern California. The talismans and amulets incorporate ancient mystical symbolism, encouraging self-discovery and exploration.
